Over the past few years, Giens and the surrounding communes have been doing their utmost to <strong>enhance their artistic image<\/strong>. We have selected for you <strong>a few of the Var&#8217;s cultural sites<\/strong> that are well worth a visit.    <\/p><h2>Discover Hy\u00e8res&#8217; cultural sites<\/h2><h3><strong>Hy\u00e8res: the medieval town, the old castle and the Templar Tower<\/strong><\/h3><p>Just a few meters from downtown Hy\u00e8res, we take you on the &#8220;<strong>Hy\u00e8res through the centuries&#8221;<\/strong> <strong>tour<\/strong>, to discover the medieval city, the remains of the ramparts and the castle. We invite you to explore <strong>2,400 years of<\/strong> the town&#8217;s <strong>history<\/strong>, thanks to the many monuments along the way! On the program in this sun-drenched town: the Massillon and Fenouillet gates, the Villa Noailles, the secrets of the medieval town and other cultural sites.  <\/p><div class=\"columns\" style=\"align-items:center;\"><div class=\"columns__item\" style=\"align-self:center;\"><h3><strong>Hy\u00e8res: The arts and heritage trail<\/strong><\/h3><p><strong>Less than 10 kilometers from Giens <\/strong>and in the heart of downtown Hy\u00e8res<strong>, let yourself be tempted by the arts and heritage trail.<\/strong> The tour begins at the traditional shops and typical sites of Hy\u00e8res: Portalet, Massillon and R\u00e9publique.<\/p><p>Along the way, you&#8217;ll have the chance to catch a glimpse of <strong>many artists and craftsmen<\/strong>.
