All you need is the right equipment for the activity you&#8217;re planning. <\/p><div class=\"columns\"><div class=\"columns__item\" style=\"align-self:center;\"><h2>Swim<\/h2><p>It&#8217;s a common misconception that it&#8217;s too cold to dive in the middle of winter. But did you know that it&#8217;s actually warmer in the sea than outside? The temperature in the Mediterranean is around 14\u00b0C, which is higher than on the coast, especially when the Mistral is blowing.  <\/p><p>Did you also know that cold water is excellent for blood circulation? Some clever kids have figured it out. Despite the winter season, you&#8217;ll find them swimming a few lengths. You&#8217;d think standing on a board would be easy. But it requires a certain amount of balance. A <strong>surfboard and an oar<\/strong>, and off you go! Paddle along the coast and enjoy the peace and quiet.    <\/p><p>You can enjoy the sea undisturbed by swimmers, other paddlers and even boats. Wear a wetsuit to avoid thermal shock. <\/p><p>This fun activity puts you in a contemplative state, and you&#8217;ll be soothed to have been able to enjoy nature. Why not try this activity during a sunrise or sunset? <\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"columns\"><div class=\"columns__item\" style=\"align-self:center;\"><h2>Visit the island of Porquerolles<\/h2><p>There&#8217;s no need to elbow your way through the holiday crowd to enjoy what this island has to offer. This island returned to its raw state will delight you in many ways. The empty paths are ideal for <strong>cycling or walking<\/strong>.    <\/p><p>Despite the winter season, you&#8217;ll also find two boutiques open. Head for <strong>Notre-Dame beach<\/strong> and its stretches of white sand. As you stroll along, you&#8217;ll discover <strong>coves hidden<\/strong> in the rock faces.  <\/p><p>To the <strong>south of the island<\/strong> are <strong>fields of laurel<\/strong> and <strong>the crops of the botanical conservatory<\/strong>. Your bike will be of no use to you in this part of the island, as wild nature has reclaimed its rightful place and the paths are for walkers only.
