It&#8217;s also famous for its motor racing circuit, the Paul Ricard, which hosts the French Formula 1 Grand Prix, a must-see on a <strong>camping<\/strong> vacation <strong>near Castellet<\/strong>. <\/p><p><strong>The ramparts of the feudal village of Le Castellet<\/strong> are extraordinarily well preserved: access to the walled town is through two fortified gates: the Grand Portal and the Portalet. Then there&#8217;s the medieval castle, built in the 11th century and rebuilt in the 15th, the castral village and the parish church of Saint-Sauveur de la Transfiguration, built in the 12th century.   <\/p><p>Le <strong>Castellet<\/strong> &#8216;s maze of narrow streets is home to numerous boutiques and arts and crafts workshops. It&#8217;s pleasant to lose yourself in the steep, less commercial streets, which are always beautifully decorated with flowers. From the esplanade of the feudal castle, the view plunges all the way to the Sainte-Baume massif. <\/p>\n\n<p id=\"12328\">The village offers a wide range of <a href=\"https:\/\/acampa-vacances.com\/en\/activities-to-do-in-giens\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"12328\">activities<\/a>, including golf, an adventure course and a horse-riding center. Hiking and cycling trails allow you to discover Le <strong>Castellet<\/strong> &#8216;s scattered hamlets and their small heritage. Honey factories and wineries are also open to visitors.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>The Paul Ricard circuit<\/em> is a must-see site that can also be visited by the whole family, in the company of guides.
