Its fine sandy beaches and numerous coves tumble into turquoise blue waters facing the famous Iles d&#8217;Or. It&#8217;s a charming little Provencal village.  <\/p><p>The almost 10-kilometre coastline offers a variety of landscapes. Fine sand and pebble beaches, sheer cliffs and unusual rock shapes alternate against a backdrop of beautiful nineteenth-century villas. The &#8220;Beau Rivage&#8221; and &#8220;Pins Pench\u00e9s&#8221; listed sites offer walkers the chance to admire curious trees twisted and leaning over the water.  <\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"columns\"><div class=\"columns__item\"><h2>Beaches and sea<\/h2><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carqueiranne.fr\/se-divertir\/cote-mer\/plages-303.html\" rel=\"noopener\">Carqueiranne&#8217;s beaches<\/a> aren&#8217;t that numerous, but they&#8217;re very pretty, and there are lots of smaller, quieter coves.  <\/p><p>Here you can enjoy sailing, water sports and, above all, diving. The seabed close to shore is home to octopus, sea urchins, starfish and brightly colored fish. <\/p><\/div><div class=\"columns__item\"><h2>The center and the market<\/h2><p>While the port of Carqueiranne is very characteristic, the village center is also very pleasant. Avenue Jean Jaur\u00e8s, the main thoroughfare, and Place de la R\u00e9publique are well shaded and lively.   <\/p><p>Every Thursday, the center hosts a very pleasant market.<\/p><\/div><\/div><div class=\"columns\"><div class=\"columns__item\"><h2>Summer events<\/h2><p>The Festival Th\u00e9\u00e2tre In Situ is held every first half of August at the Fort de la Bayarde.  <\/p><p>Every Wednesday throughout the summer, the Parc Saint-Vincent auditorium hosts a colorful show as part of the famous Moments de Clair Val.<\/p><\/div><div class=\"columns__item\"><h2>Capital of the long-stemmed tulip<\/h2><p>Its southern microclimate enabled the development of horticulture and market gardening decades ago.<\/p><p>Greenhouses and flower cultivation are omnipresent in the commune, but the best-known and most coveted is the tulip.
