Les Pays de la Provence Verte!
The Pays de la Provence Verte is an intercommunal grouping of 39 communes in the Var. This important grouping of the Var’s high villages is the fruit of a network of solidarity, enabling the communities to live in dignity, honoring their local traditions, nature and Provencal culture.
Thanks to its strong symbolism (sun, vacations, conviviality, nature of the hinterland), “Les Pays de la Provence Verte” has earned the appellation of “Unexpected Provence”.
It now comprises four communities of communes: Comté de Provence, Saint-Baume-Mont-Aurélien, Val d’Issole and Provence Verdon.
Provence County
The Comté de Provence, located in the heart of the region, was formed in 2002 and today comprises a number of communes you’ve probably already heard of.
The head office of this community of communes is located in the center of the authentic village of Brignoles, about 1 hour from the Gien peninsulas. At the same time, you’ll have the chance to discover many of the surrounding towns, each as enriching as the next.
