Le Vieux Château de Hyères, 13 km from the campsite

The feudal Château d’Ollioules, 37 km from the campsite
Perched on a hill, this 12th-century château controlled passage through the Ollioules Gorge. The original architecture has been considerably altered by major works carried out by the various residents who have prospered here.
In the 16th century, the castle was gradually demolished and the stone used to build farmers’ and shepherds’ houses at the foot of the hill.
When can you visit? All year round, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., 7 days a week.

Fort Saint-Agathe, Porquerolles, 7 km from the campsite
Fort St Agath was originally built to protect the islanders from barbarian invasion. The castle offers a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea!
Open daily from June 15 to October 30, 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 6pm.
