In the dead of winter, the mimosa blooms along our roadsides and covers our hills and azure clumps with gold. Its cottony little balls exude a powdery, intoxicating sweetness. The mimosa is the treasure of the Côte d’Azur. In fact, it has become an emblem for the inhabitants of Bormes-les-Mimosas, a village very close to the campsite: it will be honored at the corso fleuri on February 19, 2023.
