La Tour Fondue
From here, you’ll embark for theisland of Porquerolles. There’s plenty of wild scenery around the Tour Fondue. Stop at one of the secluded coves and switch on your camera. Adjust your camera’s brightness and zoom, and capture the landscapes before you. Then follow the coastal path from the village of Giens. This walk, which will take you around two hours, will take you to some of the best-known spots on the Presqu’île de Giens: the Pradeau beach, the Augier port and the Niel port.
Port du Niel
Discover this small port at the end of the Provencal village of Giens. Photograph its small lighthouse. From here, take the coastal path around Giens. You’ll discover all the coves along the way. You’ll love photographing them. At the end of the path, you’ll come to another port, La Madrague.
La Madrague beach
This magnificent beach makes for great photos. It lies at the end of the Parc des Chevaliers. You can admire the impressive view over the Carqueiranne roadstead. Theisland of Porquerolles is just waiting to be discovered! The surrounding coves are a paradise for children.
Les Salins and the Pesquiers ponds
The legendary Route du Sel leads to the Salins on one side and the Almanarre on the other. Many species of birds can be observed here. Pink flamingos, for example, make excellent photographic subjects. In winter, this road, which is closed to motorized traffic, allows you to take quiet shots. You’ll be able to take some magnificent shots in the wilderness.
