Where is Hyères?
Located in the Var, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur region, the town is only ten kilometers from your Clair de Lune campsite. Its exact name is Hyères-les-Palmiers, because of the 7,000 trees planted there.
This seaside town is bordered by the Mediterranean and boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in Hyères. Located at the entrance to the Giens peninsula and just a few minutes by boat from the superb island of Porquerolles, Hyères is a popular destination for tourists, especially in summer.

- Discover the Old Town: strolling through the narrow streets of Hyères and admiring the ruins of the feudal castle clinging to the hillside is a real delight.

Restaurants in Hyères
Come and discover local produce in one of Hyères’ restaurants. You’ll enjoy delicious southern cuisine! If you don’t know which one to choose, we recommend one of these four establishments.
First of all, La Table de Mary. With its modern, vintage and uncluttered decor, this small restaurant is located at 4 avenue de l’Aéroport in the center of Hyères. It serves mainly seafood and fish. Expect to pay around 30 euros per person.
To feed the whole family on the go, there’s nothing like a good pizza. In Hyères, you’ll find it at Supergusto, 24 avenue Gambetta. Expect to pay around fifteen euros per person.
For a romantic meal or a gourmet dinner, visit Le Moulin à Chapelle. Admittedly, the choice between the various fresh, local and seasonal dishes is difficult, but you won’t regret the experience. The average price is forty euros.
Finally, for a bistronomic lunch or dinner, discover Baraza. This friendly bistro and wine bar serves only quality local produce. Expect to pay around 40 euros per person.
