Underwater trails on the Hyeres coast

The Palud underwater trail, Port-Cros

30 minutes from the Port-Cros harbor, follow the path to Plage de la Palud. You’ll arrive at a dive site open to all divers with Level 1 certification. The shallow depth of this site (maximum 10 m) allows you to observe the fauna and flora characteristic of the Hyerois coast (sea bream, sars, mullets, posidonia, etc.).

During this 40-minute underwater walk, you’ll be guided by buoys equipped with information panels. Immerse yourself in the flora and fauna of this 200 m long underwater trail.

Olbia’s archaeological underwater trail

Olbia’s underwater trail is France’s only historic marine site!

Come and admire the wreck of a 19th-century Tartane, just 3 m below the surface. Descend a few meters further to explore the ruins of a past civilization, at a depth of less than 5 m.

Along the trail, you’ll also find signs to guide you as you explore this unique underwater site in France.

The Tour Fondue underwater trail

This underwater trail faces the Bouvet de la Tour Fondue beach.

During this walk, you’ll see a reconstruction of a Roman shipwreck and real amphorae, discovered on the Madrague site.

As with the previous trails, you’ll find explanatory signs telling you all about the fauna, flora and hidden treasures.
