Discover Porquerolles

Only 20 minutes by boat separate it from the Giens peninsula and the mainland. Bathed by the Mediterranean, Porquerolles is the largest of the Golden Isles. Covering an area of 12.5 hectares (30 km of coastline), it has little to envy its neighbors, Port-Cros andIle du Levant. Head for this Provencal island with its discreet beaches and sensational seabed, a must-see destination during your vacation in Hyères in the Var. Take advantage of your stay to discover the famous Domaine de Rayol.

Porquerolles, a one-way ticket to an unspoilt natural setting

Here, on land and in the sea, nature has never relinquished its rights. This idyllic natural setting, with its wild and varied landscapes, makes Porquerolles an authentic destination for relaxation and a change of scenery.

You don’t need to be a poet, naturalist or photographer to be enchanted by the cliffs overlooking the sea, the wooded paths, the charming contrast between the vegetation and the azure blue of the Mediterranean. The island of Porquerolles is a veritable paradise, with its fine sandy beaches, coves and national park, its coastline a veritable jewel.

Its human scale makes it accessible to hikers and cyclists, eager to find a sheltered cove for a swim or a clearing for a picnic break. The island, which is car-free, belongs to them. Like us, will you be giving special mention to the olive groves and vineyards in the south of the island?

As you play explorer, you’ll also put together the pieces of a fascinating puzzle, that of the local heritage, spearheaded by the Elise Sainte-Anne, the 84 m high lighthouse and the Villa Carmignac. You can enjoy scuba diving in the Mediterranean Sea between white sand and rocks in the heart of Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur during your stay at our campsites in Hyères.

The beaches of Porquerolles

After touring the beaches of Porquerolles, a word of advice: ask at a diving club for your first dive in one of the most beautiful spots on the Mediterranean, and at the tourist office for all the cycle paths and hiking trails.
