Les Pays de la Provence Verte!
Welcome to Provence Verte, the unexpected Provence…
The Pays de la Provence Verte brings together 39 communes in the Var region. This inter-communal group celebrates local traditions, nature and Provencal culture, and has been awarded the “Provence Inattendue” label. It now comprises 4 communities of communes. You’ll find our campsites and their full range of stays on the Acampa Vacances website, a good starting point before setting off to explore these lands.
La Provence du Verdon
To the north of the region, around 120 km from Camping International, lies Lac du Verdon. It’s a great place for discovery, swimming and water sports.
Every year, it attracts visitors from the 4 corners of France. But Provence Verdon is also home to typical villages such as Rians, Ginasservis, Seillons-Source-d’Argens, Tavernes…

Val d’Issole
The Val d’Issole is located in the south of the Provence region. Less than an hour from Camping International, you’ll find authentic villages that are real local treasures. If you’re keen on hiking, visiting cultural sites or strolling through Provencal markets, come and visit the towns of Forcalqueiret, Méounes, Rocbaron, Mazaugues…

Sainte-Baume-Mont-Aurélien
Just 70 km from Camping International and heading towards the west of the region, you’ll discover quiet, relaxing places like Bras, Nans-les-Pins, Plan d’Aups-Sainte-Baume, Rougiers… There are plenty of forests, vineyards and massifs for beautiful hikes and diversified activities.
The County of Provence
In the center of the region, around 55 km from Camping International, you’ll discover historic centers and enchanting landscapes. These remote places are committed to respecting local traditions. Head for Brignoles, Carcès, Camps-la-Source, Tourves, Le Val… and while you’re in the area, don’t miss Correns and the Vallon Sourn, another gem of the Provence Verte.
If you like adventure in an enchanting setting, you know what you have to do…
Did you know that Camping International, located in Giens, allows you to combine relaxation with sporting activities? Scuba diving, windsurfing, paddle-boarding, hiking and lounging by the pool or on the beaches of l’Almanarre are all on offer. And enjoy the benefits of the spa. If you’d rather settle into a quieter, family-friendly spot before setting off on these excursions, the Île d’Or campsite is another option worth considering.
