To find out, visit the only museum entirely dedicated to this star: the Musée Louis de Funès, in Saint-Raphaël. Discover or rediscover his career through hundreds of objects, posters, decorations and awards belonging to France’s favorite actor. Animations and surprises await you for a memorable family vacation!
The museum offers self-guided tours, guided tours and group tours. Anyone under the age of 18, student, job-seeker or on minimum social benefits may enter on presentation of a valid form of identification.
Cap Garonne Mining Museum (Le Pradet, Var 83)
Just a 30-minute drive from the campsite, this is one of the top five mining sites in the world. Come and relive the history of 19th-century miners and discover the mysteries of the rock as we recreate scenes from the past.
At the summit of Cap Garonne, this exclusive site offers panoramic views of the Hyères islands and Toulon harbor. There are numerous hiking trails all around you to enjoy a stroll in the Mediterranean sunshine. The museum offers both guided and self-guided tours.

The Musée National de la Marine in Toulon (83)
Located near the seaport and military port, the Toulon Naval Museum (30 minutes’ drive from the campsite) gives you an insight into the naval evolution of the port of Toulon.
The Musée national de la Marine de Toulon was founded at the end of the First Empire near the Département de la Marine, with a clock tower at the entrance to the Arsenal.
On the program: ships, large-scale models, frigates, torpedoes, galleys, symbols of the Mediterranean maritime tradition. You’ll also learn about the creation of the Toulon navy and its influence on the city’s development. And the museum’s biggest innovation: the reconstruction of the prison hospital. A unique and informative site for the whole family!
